Squarespace Installation Guide
Two methods: Code Injection (sitewide) or Code Block (single page).
Estimated time: 2 minutes · Difficulty: Easy
Step 1 — Get your embed code
Log in to your FeedPane dashboard and copy your embed code.
<script src="https://feedpane.com/widget.js" data-key="YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY"></script>Method A — Code Block (one specific page)
Best if you only want the widget on one page (e.g., your homepage or about page).
- 1Open your Squarespace site editor and navigate to the page where you want the feed
- 2Click Edit to enter editing mode
- 3Click the + button where you want to add the widget, then select Code
- 4Paste your FeedPane embed code into the code block editor
- 5Click Apply then Save
💡 In the editor, the widget may show as a grey placeholder. Preview your live site or publish to see the feed.
Method B — Code Injection (every page / footer)
Best if you want the widget to appear in the footer of every page. Requires a Business or Commerce plan.
- 1Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection
- 2To add the widget to the footer of every page, paste your embed code in the Footer field
- 3To add it to a specific page only, open that page's settings and use its Page Header Code Injection field
- 4Click Save
Troubleshooting
Code block shows but widget is blank
Make sure your Instagram account is connected in FeedPane and has at least one post. The feed can take up to an hour to sync after first connection.
Code Injection not available
Code Injection requires a Squarespace Business plan or higher. Use Method A (Code Block) if you're on a Personal plan.
