Wix Installation Guide

Use Wix's built-in HTML embed widget to add your Instagram feed to any page.

Estimated time: 3 minutes · Difficulty: Easy

Step 1 — Get your embed code

Log in to your FeedPane dashboard and copy your embed code.

<script src="https://feedpane.com/widget.js" data-key="YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY"></script>

Step 2 — Add an HTML element in Wix Editor

  1. 1Open your Wix site in the Wix Editor
  2. 2Click Add Elements (the + button on the left toolbar)
  3. 3Go to Embed Code → Embed HTML and click Add to Page
  4. 4A grey box will appear on your page — click it to open the code editor
  5. 5Select HTML (not iframe) in the editor and paste your FeedPane embed code
  6. 6Click Apply
  7. 7Resize the HTML box to fit the widget. For a 3-column grid showing 9 posts, a box roughly 600px wide × 600px tall works well
  8. 8Click Publish

Resizing tips

  • The FeedPane widget is fully responsive — it fills the width of whatever container you give it
  • Set the HTML element to 100% width by stretching it to fill your column or section
  • The height will auto-adjust based on the number of posts shown
  • For a slider layout, a shorter height works well — try 250–350px

Slider on Wix:

<script src="https://feedpane.com/widget.js" data-key="YOUR_KEY" data-layout="slider" data-cols="3"></script>

Troubleshooting

The HTML box is blank in the editor

The widget only runs in a published site environment. It won't preview inside the Wix editor. Publish the page and view it live to see the feed.

Widget gets cut off

Increase the height of the HTML embed element in the Wix Editor. The widget needs enough space to render all posts.

Using Wix ADI (Wix's AI Design tool)?

Switch from ADI to the regular Wix Editor to access the HTML embed element. ADI doesn't support custom code embeds.
